What is the best cream for wrinkles on delicate skin?
I’m only 23 years old, but i have very fair skin which makes my skin more prone to sun damage, i.e. wrinkles and sun burns. My skin is very delicate so i’m limited to oil-free and fragrance-free creams otherwise i’ll develop a rash or break out. Any suggestions on lightweight creams to reduce and prevent wrinkles?

    • ♥ligHt_heartEd_pink♥ says:

you can use anything mild products such as dove or oil of olay.. eat right and also, keep to moisturize your face.. and also, keep using a moisturizer.. MOISTURE is the main key to have a wrinkle free skin.. hope this helps ya!!! =))

What is the best way of straightening the wrinkles on leather items?
For example, if you see wrinkles on a leather bag, leather jacket or something like that, what would be the best way to get rid of the the wrinkles?

    • atroo_blondd says:

A wrinkled garment can be hung in the bathroom while you take a hot shower. this should relax the wrinkles, and If the wrinkles don’t steam out by themselves, gently iron the garment at a warm setting after layering clean brown paper between the iron and the leather (gently press it flat for a few seconds over the crease) Store your leather garment in a well-ventilated area and cover with a cloth to keep it dust free. Avoid storing your leather garment in plastic.Storing leather garments in plastic bags risks mildew, so keep your jacket on a wooden hanger in a closet with good air circulation. Leather is porous and it needs to “breathe”

What’s the best way to get rid of wrinkles in a Sport Jacket(or Suit Jacket) at home?
When trying to prepare my suit for the day, sometimes the coat will get wrinkled being in the closet. Is there an easy and quick solution to get rid of them (ironing doesn’t seem to help much)? Its also very expensive to take to the dry cleaners just because the coat has wrinkles.

What are some home remedies for reducing the appearance of wrinkles on the face?
Is there a way to make some sort of homemade mask or cream that will help fine lines and wrinkles from forming on the face?

    • Rania N says:

There are creams that won’t make them go away but can reduce their appearance. I highly recommend Creme De La Mer. It’s pricey but very good.

My #1 suggestion to make wrinkles go away is a change in your diet. You need to start from the inside in this case. Eating salmon, nuts, fish, green tea and anything with a lot of anti oxidants and omega fatty acids has been proven to reduce wrinkles, complexion, etc. There are certain foods (starchy, sugars, etc) that will prematurely produce wrinkles rapidly. The best book on this is by Dr Perricone.

“The Perricone Prescription is a seven-step, 28-day program designed to prevent and reverse wrinkles with a special anti-inflammatory diet, moderate exercise, topical creams and nutritional supplements. Dermatologist Nicholas Perricone, M.D., devised the program based on the assumption that sugar and foods with a high glycemic index such as bread, bagels, bananas, pizza, pasta and potatoes lead to the inflammation that is at the root of wrinkles and aging skin. He contends that by eliminating these foods and choosing sufficient amounts of protein and foods that produce an anti-inflammatory response such as avocado, berries, dark green leafy vegetables and salmon, skin will look younger and healthier. He provides two weeks worth of menus for three meals plus two snacks each day and includes several recipes. He also advocates regular exercise and the use of numerous topical creams and supplements to ward off inflammation and rejuvenate skin.”

How do you get the wrinkles out of a floor rug?
I have a 5×7 rug that continually gets wrinkles in it! Its annoying to trip over them, does anyone have a solution for this?

    • saaanen says:

If you have it on carpet nothing will work. If you have it on a slippery surface just buy a carpet pad. It sounds to me like it’s flimsy, so eliminating the wrinkles might not be too easy.

What can i do to prevent wrinkles on my forehead?
Im just 21 years old, and ever since i’ve been 18 i’ve had wrinkles on my forehead. It seems to be worsening while i age. Does anyone know of a good product that will work for this?

    • Bella says:

I know two ways on how to prevent wrinkles on the forehead:

      1. Wear shades during the day if you are driving or just walking or having a picnic outside..whatever you are doing outdoors for a long time. Shades will prevent you from squinting and thus prevent wrinkles.

      2. As much as possible, keep yourself from getting angry. You see, when someone gets angry they squint too. As I said, it can cause wrinkles.

I did not suggest to you a product but I hope this will help you. =)

What is the best food product for wrinkles?
I have alot of wrinkles and I am so sick of it, please, I need a cure for ir already, but something cheap. I really can’t afford a botox or anything right now, I just need something I can use in my own house. Please, I need to get rid of wrinkles for good with food! How to reduce double chins and wrinkles?
I am not so old but have a sagging chin. I am not over weight either. Do you have any suggestions for any exercises or diet regime I can follow to prevent wrinkles along my frown lines and reduce my double chin?

    • Sherlock Holmes says:

Wearing a day and night eye cream can really help with wrinkles, and you should see quite a difference.

I have heard of an exercise for double chins. You tilt your head back (not until it hurts) and slowly push your jaw outwards and back in. You can do this in your own time and it only needs to be done for a few minutes on a regular basis.

How do you get wrinkles out of a wedding veil?
I am borrowing my FMIL’s wedding veil. It has been stored away for 30 years and has some wrinkles. How do I get rid of them? I don’t want to ruin it!

Can a wedding veil be ironed? Steamed?

It is just regular bridal tulle or whatever most wedding veils are made of. It has lace on the edges, but it is basically just veil material.

    • DigitalDiva says:

Steam it. Absolutely do not iron it though. Hold the steamer a safe distance (at least a couple inches) from the veil to prevent touching it and damaging it accidentally.

If you don’t have a steamer, then you could also try bringing it into the bathroom with you when you have a hot shower. That often helps get wrinkles out, and it’s what I do with clothing when I am in hotels and don’t have my steamer with me. But chances are that if it has been stored for 30 years it is pretty wrinkly and will need the help of a good steamer.

What can I use for preventing wrinkles and damage around my eyes?
I have very sensitive skin around my eyes(I guess most everyone does). Is there something I can use to help with wrinkles and firming?

Something affordable and I can get at a CVS or something like that. What Olay product would you suggest? Or what brand is out there that you would suggest?

    Thank You
    Cheers!
I use sunglasses and sunblock when I go out.

    • Susan says:

Shea butter fades and reduces wrinkles, restores elasticity to skin and evens skin tone. Coconut oil firms, softens, soothes and moisturizes skin. It combats wrinkles, also.

Since you mentioned you have very sensitive skin, consider using products that are fragrance free, unscented or Au natural. Some skin care fragrances may be irritating for sensitive skin.

What causes wrinkles and how ther are formed?
Our teacher mentioned in class that it takes about 4 weeks for a new skin
cell to make it to the surface of our skin. If they are new cells, why
    don’t wrinkles disappear?

    • dafauti says:

Young skin lacks wrinkles. Do you know why? Skin of the people who are young does their job effectively in stretching and holding in moisture. The outermost layer in the skin, which is visible to eyes, is called as epidermis. This has got elastic qualities due to presence of fibres called elastin. It keeps the skin fresh and young. Collagen, a type of protein present in dermis also plays a part of preventing wrinkles.

With time dermis looses both elastin and collagen hence skin gets thinner and cis not able to retain enough moisture for epidermis. The fat in the subcutaneous layer that gives skin a plump appearance also begins to disappear, the epidermis starts to sag, and wrinkles form.

So, why do some people in there 50 and 60 too do not get wrinkles? This is only because they have taken special care of their skin in the early parts of their life. Another reason is that their skin might have more sebum, the natural oil of the skin. Wrinkles also depend on the genes. Sooner or later everyone is going to get wrinkles, as it is the part of aging process.

How one should Stop skin wrinkles? Well there are lot of reasons behind wrinkles and lot of remedy too. We would look at few of the ways using which you could delay or Stop skin wrinkles. One of the more accepted techniques to Stop skin wrinkles is plastic surgery. Not only are face-lifts an alternative but also there are now less insidious procedures, like chemical peels, laser healing, and collagen shot. The number one course of action for plummeting wrinkles used today by women of every walk of life is Botox shot. Botox® works by comforting the injected muscle and permit those awful furrow lines and other deep wrinkles to all but fade away. This is impermanent, though, and has to be continual every few months.

Coblation is also an choice for plummeting wrinkles. Less persistent than surgery, radio waves are used to eliminate the top layer of the skin, plummeting the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and sun harm. Although this process does leave you with newer, younger looking skin, it is not as efficient as laser management. It is safer, though, and the healing process is considerably shorter since the radio waves do not go as intensely into the lesser layers of skin.

Even though all of the above mentioned remedies are good alternative, they are also costly in handling and stop skin wrinkles. There are large ranges of wrinkle plummeting creams on the market today that include ingredients like Retinal. These will facilitate to firm your skin and minimize the gaze of fine lines, but not essentially the deeper set wrinkles.

At what age should I start worrying about wrinkles?
I am 22. What should I do to prevent wrinkles? I’ve started noticing lines in the outside of my eyes and my forhead. I have friends who have tried botox, but I in no way want to resort to botox or plastic surgery. I’m looking for something natural and inexpensive.

    • Spamela says:

At what age should you start worrying? At birth. The absolute best thing to prevent wrinkles is daily sunscreen, even if you’re only going outside for a few minutes. Minimum of 30 SPF. You can get a lot of sun while driving (skin cancer rates are higher on the left side of the body of Americans and on the right side in Britain). A lot is determined by your genes. Drink lots of water, use a good moisturizer. Don’t use harsh chemicals (e.g. alcohol) on your skin or scrub it too much. Don’t worry about every little change in your face…they give you character. Plus, you’ll have them for the rest of your life, so you might as well embrace them.

    • heart2dance2 says:

You can get by with an eyeliner in brown. Wrinkle up you face and lightly draw a line in each crease, then it helps if you gently smudge the line in a downward motion, just to take the sharpness out and create a little shadow effect. Then you can go back in and with a light color, light beige or even white if you’ve got it, add a lighter line above each wrinkle line and lightly blend. You are creating a dimensional look with shadows and highlights.
Don’t forget to draw in the jowls. This is where the skin on your face sags around the jaw line. Use the same shadow/highlight effect to create these just below the jaw line.
You should also do your neck. It looks funny to have an old face and a young neck.
Also, I just did a search for “old age make up images” and came up with quite a few. Do this so you have a couple of pictures to guide you.
      Good Luck!!

How to get wrinkles out of a table liner?
I have a new table liner for a dining room table that is plastic on one side and then a soft, cotton-like underside. The wrinkles are so big from being folded into a tiny package and I need to get them out so that my table cloth will lay flat.

I’m hesitant to iron the soft underside because I’m afraid the plastic might melt.

    Any suggestions?

    • Jo M says:

Lay a big fluffy bath towel on the table.

Lay the liner cloth side up on top of that.

Spritz the fold lines lightly with clear water. Lay another towel on the liner and steam iron over the fold lines at the lowest steam setting possible. Keep the iron moving, but press firmly. Don’t use the burst of steam feature on your iron.

Work a small section at a time and keep sliding the liner over to work on the next.

Be sure you are ironing on the towel-covered table so you don’t damage the table finish!

Here is the regimen we recommend to our patients for photoaging and wrinkles and it works wonderfully. Start with a product containting tretinoin (Retin-A, etc) and apply this daily at night for 6 months. After that, switch to twice weekly (Usually Monday and Thursday night). In the morning, apply a skin care product that is contains fruit acid, there are a lot of these products on the market. They are the alpha hydroxy products. These are strong moisturizers that will actually pull moisture out of the air and into your skin. Make sure you use a strong facial sunscreen every day to protect against further sun damage and to counteract the sensitization that tretinoin products can cause.

Tretinoin is the only product that has been proven to reduce actinic (sun) damage to the skin. In addition, it causes collagen stimulation that reduces wrinkles. You can start using these products at any age, but the best age to start at is in your 30’s as collagen content begins to decrease and wrinkling begins.

Your dermatologist should be able to help you out with products and prescriptions to get you started. I hope this helps.

What is a legitimate treatment for a few wrinkles and bags under ones eyes?
I have been fortunate all my life with not have wrinkles around the eyes. I am an aging baby boomer which makes this a good thing, but the last 6 or 8 months I have been having trouble sleeping. Of late I have noticed the wrinkles intruding onto my face for the first time. I don’t mind paying a little more for the right skin care product to help with both the bags and 1st time wrinkles.

    • Mukunda M says:

These safe natural treatments really work and can permanently get rid of them..

This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
“Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.”

She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with essential oils had permanently got rid of my acne and also removed my bags/circles. The massages greatly tighten skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away.

The most helpful ones are: Using both hands together (1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes. (2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone. (3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet). If do all 3 for 10 minutes daily – will markedly tighten skin and diminish the circles in the first two days. Use any oil. Olive is good. To avoid skin pulling first make skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth(tightens most of face)

Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on Youtube. Do the “The lion face” and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.

YOGA MEDITATION is a great help.and is easy to do. Contact me for more info. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or more hours of non restful sleep.

Consumer Reports – it’s the only trustworthy, independent reviewer and tester of products – recently found that out of 16 wrinkle, anti aging products that were tested, no matter what price you paid – most expensive one being $96 – all failed to even noticeably reduce wrinkles and lines. A simple over the counter moisturizing cream that was also included in the tests was found to be just as effective as the products claiming to be anti aging, wrinkle reducing creams. It clearly proves that these products are scams. See Consumer Reports.com for more info.

Which face moisturizer is best to combat wrinkles and for whitening?
    I’m 30 years old.

I currently use Nivea Visage moisturizing night cream. I’m happy with it so far. I like the whitening property as I am constantly exposed to the sun.

I notice wrinkles are starting to develop. I think the Nivea I’m using now is not enough to prevent wrinkles. I’m thinking of switching to Olay Total Effects or Olay Regenerist Cream. Has anyone tried this? Which one is better? Is it good for wrinkles and whitening? Thanks.

    • Celtic Peace says:

From one male perspective: “Beauty is only skin deep.” Having said this, I dunno about any of these creams, but the best preventive measure from the negative effects of sun is to avoid excessive exposure. Since this might be impossible for you, I would suggest keeping an ample supply of sunscreen available… and use it. – Peace

How do I get wrinkles out of heavy polyester fabric?
I have some uniforms that were washed for me that are constructed out of a heavy polyester and someone washed them for me. When they brought them back they have massive wrinkles everwhere. I suspect they dried them too hot and maybe left them in the dryer to long as well. I have tried rewashing them, rewashing with only partially drying, used fabric sheets, and even tried a wrinkle release stuff to no noticable inprovement. Someone save meeeeeeeeee ! ! ! !

    • ms_know_it_all says:

Either steam them (if you have a garment steamer) or iron them. Since they are polyester, make sure that you iron them inside out and on the level that your iron suggests for polyester so it doesn’t get all shiny.

Can fine lines be considered lines that you can see for example on your forehead without raising your eyebrows or are they considered to be wrinkles? I know that this may seem like a silly question but I am just curious.

    • Mukunda M says:

Lines, wrinkles – it’s just a case of degree. When not very pronounced they are usually described as fine lines. When more pronounced they are described as wrinkles. Many on answers, even very young ones, are always proclaiming they have very pronounced or deep wrinkles, creases, etc. But we know, don’t we, that it’s simply an exaggeration. It’s an acrylic cotton polyester blend of poncho, handmade in Mexico. A huge poncho, the only problem is when they come in they have creases in them from folding and shipping. In order for it to have that Clint Eastwood flowy thing going on, I need the pesky wrinkles out in a way that won’t take hanging it up for weeks on end.

    • clayton says:

If a steam iron does not do the trick, then consider having a local dry cleaning establishment press the poncho for you.

How do i get rid of Wrinkles under my eyes?
Im 15 years old and i’ve been made fun of alot for having wrinkles under my eyes, i use to rub them alot cause i have eczema. Its realy affecting my personal life. I cant buy any creams or stuff like that cause my mom tells me i dont have wrinkles, but its realy easy to see. Is there anyway i can get rid of them without cream?

    • Tweety says:

Since you are just 15 years old, your mom is right, do not apply any cream.

Drink plenty of water (about 2 liters a must) daily and have plenty of oranges, pomegranates. They are good for your skin’s elasticity.

If your mom approves of buying Almond oil, apply that around your eyes every night with your forefinger tips and gently massage in outward circles. Be careful not to put the oil inside your eyes, close your eyes before massaging.

Another home remedy is to cut a cucumber into slices (round) and keep them on your eyes for 30 minutes daily.

But do not forget to drink enough water to hydrate your skin. you are too young to get wrinkles. The elasticity of your skin might have been lost due to dehydration.

      All the best!!

How do you draw wrinkles/folds in clothes for anime drawings?
I am having trouble how to know where and how to draw the wrinkles and folds in anime drawings. Help?
Serious answers only. Thanks in advance.

    • zarrelcharmen says:

This was a problem for me as well a couple of years ago, but the main thing to understand with wrinkles is that you shouldn’t add them in randomly just because you think you should add them but don’t know where. First thing you have to understand is anatomy and the 3d structure underneath the clothes, because the clothes use the body as a type of clothes hanger. Then find places where the body bends or isn’t in the shape that the cloth was made in, and there is where you add your folds. In order to know what direction the cloth folds in, you really have to understand how cloth falls. I suggest you do a couple of studies on people wearing different types of clothing to see where the cloth fold and how it folds. Eventually, you’ll know intuitively how cloth works.

What is good for crate paper wrinkles on forehead and face?
I am looking for a good wrinkle cream or serum that actually works. Too prevent any new wrinkles, and inmprove the ones I do have. I am 33 years old. I noticed that my skin on my forehead looks like “crate paper” . Thank You.

    • Mukunda M says:

Do an Answers Search and you will find many creams and`serums have failed to do either. Some have however irritated and harmed skin and some have been pulled from market, notably in France, because of skin harming and cancer causing concerns.(confirm with a Google)
I found this was a safe, very effective treatment to greatly minimize them and largely prevent others forming. With front of fingers held together massage very vigorously backwards and forwards directly on the lines. For forehead: Use front of first three fingers held together and do a horizontal forward and back massage directly on the lines. Starting from one side of forehead, do a series of short forward and back massages blending one into the next all the way to the other side.
Massage 20 to 30 times and even more two or three times a day depending on how your skin adjusts to it. You can gradually build up to a great deal more. See clearly noticeable fading in 15 to 20 days, depending on how vigorous and how frequently you have done it.

What is the average age for wrinkles and gray hair for women?
I’m almost 26. I have a couple very fine wrinkles on my forehead and no grays. I’m just wondering when I can expect aging to start happening. I do use Retinol Cream, and I dye my hair very rarely. I’m just curious, because my mom had gray hair at 18!

    • Susan M says:

That varies a lot. I had a very few stray gray hairs since I was under ten. At 51 I have some gray hair, but still few. i have some wrinkles, but not much. I have had friends who went gray by 30. Wrinkles have to do with exposure to sun, genetics, smoking and diet, in my opinion.

Hang it up in a worm place It will become more pliable
you could peg it to a string and very gently worm it with a hair dryer
probably if it is just hung in a worm room or in the sun it will be ok

How do I get rid of under eye wrinkles naturally?
I am only fifteen and I swear I have massive wrinkles underneath my eyes!
Its scary and I am really self conscious about it. It makes me feel ugly. I want to get rid of them naturally. I hear potatoes and tea bags work. How about an anti aging eye skin mask or something.
Also is it normal for 15 year olds to experience under eye wrinkles?

    • 23/07/92 says:

No hun, collagen is produced up to the age of 30 and then it stops. That is when you start experiencing wrinkles, aging, etc depending on your genes, diet, the environment you live in, etc. I am 99.9% sure that you’re not experiencing wrinkles. You are way too young, for starters. I think the area under your eyes is dry hence making them appear creased and wrinkly looking. Please don’t start using anti-ageing creams and roll-ons, your skin is still young and doesn’t need it. Simply massage Olive Oil underneath your eyes every night before you go to bed. It should keep that particular area moisturised and healthy looking.

      Good luck 🙂

How do you get wrinkles out of a suit withOUT going to the dry cleaners?
I bought a suit today because I have an interview on Monday. The suit is wrinkled and the store wouldn’t steam it for me. I can’t find any dry cleaners that are open on Sundays (I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL – if you know of any, please let me know). Is there anyway I can press or get the wrinkles out of the suit myself?

    • M E says:

Put it in a closed bathroom with the shower going and let the steam get the wrinkles out. Or, go to Target or Walmart and buy a Clothes Steamer…..it’s pretty inexpensive. You can also put a semi-thick towel over it and steam it with the iron filled with water (press the steam button). Good luck on your interview!
