Facial Products For Black Women

The Best Skin Care Products For African American Women!

After taking a look online and checking a few websites and businesses out, I have rounded up the top black skin care products for women such as yourself. Some of these products are skin lightening creams or bleaching cream for black skin, while others are moisturizers, lotions or face wash. I also found a few specific types of make up that you can use as well!

The great thing about the Internet besides being so darn easy, is that you are going to find other really useful options as well such as articles and blogs and reviews on different products. These reviews are for black women and written by black women, so it’s definitely something you can trust in when trying to figure out how to love the skin you are in! Let’s take a few minutes to cover the basics of black skin care products!

Exfoliation: A simple exfoliation compound of oatmeal and honey used as a rub, can efficiently help “rub” away the dirt, debris, and oil that clogs the pores. This is also a more natural way of helping with problems involving hyper-pigmentation. It’s a very easy process, not only can you do it by your self with ingredients that are in your home right now, but there are also other black skin care products online that have these ingredients and a few others to help with pigmentation of the skin!

Revitalizing skin care peel: These skin care peel kits come in an array of different solutions. Some of you may have heard of something called a chemical peel, which is similar, but is made with harsh abrasives! A lot of the older chemical peels have acids in them, which can really end up making your face worse than when you started! Make sure that the product you use has no abrasives, no granules, and no acids!

Skin lightening cream or bleaching cream for black skin. This kind of black skin care product is one of the more popular options for hyper-pigmentation. It allows for uneven skin tone to be fixed quite easily by using melanin – an ingredient which is naturally available in your skin. This melanin is basically the producer of your skin color, however, sometimes it does not spread out evenly and causes the uneven skin tone colors. A bleaching agent can quickly and easily help with these problems! But make sure that the active bleach in your cream is 100% natural – don’t take chances when it comes to your skin!

Of course there are more black skin care products that are available out there, exclusively for African-American women. As said above, you can also find makeup, moisturizers and facial care products such as lotions, mud masks, and more! It really depends on which store you are taking a look at. One of the best things most people will suggest is to find an online store that specializes only in black skin care products. With sites like this you will surely fine everything you need to make your skin more beautified!

    Peace&Luv

    • ANSWER:
Well, I believe Olay makes some that are specifically for more pigmented skin (it has a different texture because of the amount of melanocytes, and it’s thicker as well.) I’m young and Native American, not Black, but I do use Ambi moisturizers pretty often. They’re nice, but like you said, if you have sensitive skin that may not be good because they have a very light scent. I would check Olay’s website first and foremost.

Another I just realized I forgot was Carol’s Daughter. It’s made by a Black woman for Black people and other people of color. That may be worth a shot too, just search for it on the web.

If he’s broken out try some acne medications like Oxy or Stridex or Nutregena (face wash, toner and spot treat with acne cream).. do it twice a day –

Use a face cream. Our face is more sensitive then the rest of our body so often the cream for our hands is to thick and can clog the pores.

  11. QUESTION:
Men, aren’t you glad we’re more advantaged than women in the looks department. And women, are you bitter?
    1. Women age faster than men ( http://www.livescience.com/health/061003_women_skin.html ). Something about elasticity, menopause, and a bunch of other stuff. This especially goes for us black males who have melanin which makes us age that much slower than everybody else

    2. Women use make-up products. Make-up is said to age your skin

    3. If women are ugly, there’s not many natural things they can do to alter their appearance. On the other hand, we men can grow facial hair to drastically alter are appearance and it’s like a second chance of being considered attractive if you’re not without

    4. If women start going bald in an area or get a receding hairline, there’s not much they can do about it. On the other hand, it’s socially acceptable for men to go bald or go shaven and still look attractive. This especially hold true for us black males

    5. We men can also gain a lot of weight and still be considered attractive. We have the choice of being skinny, built and musculor, and even average, and thick in build or buff and still be considered hot. The only one we can’t be is obese. Women, on the other hand, can only be skinny!

so the white women are only one race who can makeup their face like snowwhite, hispanic, asian or black? and can varity of eyeshadows colors? is that means caucasian women have the most porportion facial’s features and fine’s look?

    • ANSWER:
I think they have those chocolate tan products to make women look more sun kissed. But, They still want women to wear the foundation shade that best matches their face.

They are trying to make women happy with their REAL skin color, be proud of who they are and are just trying to help by making you look your absolute best.

    • ANSWER:
I don’t know if women age faster.. all I know is that we live longer 😀
I barely use make-up but it is detrimental for your skin (which is why i barely use it)
If your an ugly guy growing a beard won’t make u look pretty… it mite make u look worse 😛
But women really do have it bad when some of them go bald.. obviously because it’s more socially acceptable for men to go bald.
I think women are more harshly judged on their looks.. usually by other women.

and yea i do wear make up…n i tried proactive but im allergic to dat…

    • ANSWER:
Get a facial. Sony Dakar or any brand that specializes in black head removal. You may need a deep pore cleaning once a month…you didnt mention if you wore make up or not. They do extractions during the facial too. i wouldnt over exfoliate though, sometimes that encourages break outs. there is a neutrogena specifically for black head removal. hate to say this, but turmeric, a yellow “spice” found at south asian, indian grocery shops which is touted to be an antiseptic works wonders. just mix with warm water and rub it on…scrub for a lil exfoliation…if you are reallllly light skinned be careful, it might slightly stain, nothing that wont come out in a few washes.

    • ANSWER:
I’d say go for the first program because you’ll learn how to do bridal makeup which should involve, in a least some part, makeup for photography (how many people do you know that didn’t get a photographer for their wedding). From there you can build your portfolio and even apprentice under other makeup artists doing photo shoots. That way you’ll learn all the things you would learn from the 2nd course anyway. Good luck!
