The Best Wrinkle Cream Uses DNA Technology

Dermajuv is the best wrinkle cream on the market. This is a strong statement and it can be proven. The results that Dermajuv is achieving are nothing short of amazing. While other lotions and wrinkle creams simply moisturize the skin, Dermajuv revitalizes the cells in the skin and promotes the production of healthy cells. These products penetrate deep within the layers of the skin and transform the skins elasticity. The rejuvenating of the skin’s inner layers is seen as wrinkles vanish and skin begins to glow.

Restoration of elasticity, improvement of shine, the removing of redness and blotches, the vanishing of age spots and the erasing of wrinkles takes place as Dermajuv penetrates and alters the DNA in the skin. The healing at the cellular level promotes the health and restoration of the DNA and the growth of new healthy skin cells.

Testimonies are filled with the amazing before and after results. The restoration of the DNA causes changes to take place beyond moisturizing. Photos have captured the sagging necks being reshaped and the skin being strengthened and tightened. Eyes with bags are restored to proper health and the skin around the eye is perfectly shaped and healthy. The health to the skin is being restores as cell growth and collagen is stimulated.

Wrinkles can be dealt with and changed forever. Stop the aging process and jumpstart the body’s production of healthy cells with this scientifically proven product. There are several systems that are developed with distinct purposes. The neck and upper chest area, the face, and the eyes each have their own specialized systems. These systems focus on the issues that affect these parts of the body and are created to get the results needed.

The anti aging, anti wrinkle creams penetrate into the skin bringing rejuvenation and restoration. The vanishing of wrinkles, lines and discolorations are amazing. Dermajuv stands behind all their products with thirty day money back guarantees. This provides plenty of time to test the product and see that it does indeed work. Be sure to take your own before and after photos so that you can see the amazing results for yourself. This is an easy product to use and there is no discomfort at all. This cream is healthy and safe and will show results quickly.

Can phone radiation affect medical creams?
    Hi
I know phone radiation is non-ionizing radiation, some research has shown that it can affect molecules and DNA, assuming this is true, can phone radiation also affect medicine or medical creams that I use if I put them near my phone, say in my backpack.

if I put my phone next to a cream I use, can it change its structure somehow? please explain why or why not, I know phone radiation cannot take molecules apart since it doesn’t have enough energy, but still some research shows that it can change DNA somehow, so what is the difference between the DNA and the creams I use assuming it cannot change the structure.

    • Joel says:

as long as you don’t carry your cell phone in your jockstrap who cares about losing a few skin cells now and then. unless the cream you carry in your backpack is sunscreen, then 15 minutes out in the sun will probably do far more damage to you than a lifetime of exposure to cell phones. people used to think power transmission lines were doing the same thing – they pointed to the disappearing honeybees and blamed it on all the radiation we produce, but what’s going on with honeybees has a biological basis, not a radiological one. sorry, I digress. if the cell phone radiation doesn’t have enough energy to take molecules apart, then how exactly can it affect extremely stable molecular configurations such as DNA. The molecules of whatever compounds are found in a container of cream are probably not fragile either. manufacturers do consider external factors such as temperature, exposure to sunlight, etc. in calculating the probable shelf life of a product or medicine, and would probably say something on the product label.

I know what my racial background is! It would be interesting if you can guess it right? Cheers and beers to all on this new years day! :)

    • John Z says:

First, there is no such thing as race, so if you insist, your race is human (there are no subspecies). Your DNA/genetics originated from simple organisms that inhabited the planet about 2.5 billion years ago. If that’s too far back for you, perhaps you would accept the evolution of the genus Homo as the origin. In that case it would be somewhere in East Africa with the advent of Homo habilis some 2 million years ago. If even that is too far back for you, well it would (more than likely) be either Africa or Israel, where the first anatomically modern humans evolved (depending on the accuracy of the recent 400,000 year old dating of the Israeli fossils).

If you are awarding accuracy and not speculation, I think I should get the cake! But seriously, there are no multiples of human races. We are all one race, and the similarity of our DNA is the proof of that fact.

Do you pick up your eating habbits (healthy/ junky) before your even born?
By this question i mean when your mother is pregnet with you. I’m not sure about this because i have a brother who likes junk food more than me by alot (younger brother); while i am the opposite, i like healthier foods then what he likes. My mom said that when she had me in her belly, she used to eat all the healthy stuff like vegies and yougurt and that kind of stuff; whil when she had my little brother, she ate more junk food than healthier foods like chocolate and ice cream. i understand that when a mother eats, some of the food goes to the baby throught the umbellical cord; so does the type of food actually give a baby its favourites and non-favourites before its born? by that i mean if junk food is all the mother eats become a regular meal for the baby thus making it normal for the baby to expect and eat junk food. Is it true or is it just the chance of DNA picking your eating habbits?

    • Ian says:

What you describe is more or less true… fetuses can taste some of the stuff mommy eats and will often develop a preference for it. Babies whose moms used to eat lots of spicy food while pregnant often don’t mind spicy food as much while they’re infants as babies whose moms didn’t. Still, I think feeding habits during the first few years after birth likely matter too, and possibly genetics has some influence as well. And what you like changes over the years as well… I used to hate spinach when I was a kid whereas I don’t mind it now, and I’m not all that fond of most candy anymore.

    • emucompboy says:

I didn’t see a claim to repair DNA on the Nivea site.

I saw a claim that it will protect your skin’s DNA from future damage. Any good sunscreen will do that. No need to spring for something that’s high priced.

  6. Aristo says:

Is leeching related to chemotherapy in any way?
Just imagine that in the 1830s, which was the peak of the use of leeches, the medical community at the time, plus the leech breeders and scarificator makers got together and decided they had a good thing going. Suppose they said that if they abandoned their techniques for newer techniques that their incomes would drop and many jobs would be lost. Those who grew leeches would make less profits, those who made the scarificators and other instruments would make less profits, the doctors would make less income, and so on. Suppose they all conspired together to suppress all future medical discoveries (made after 1830) in order to maximize their earnings and profits.
Had that happened, we would still be using bloodletting, leeches and scarificators for virtually all diseases. Scientists today would be spending vast amounts of money studying the DNA of the leeches to breed the most efficient leeches. The cream of our scientific pool will be studying the optimum number of leeches to use and the optimum places on the body to place them for each type of disease. There will be extensive blind and double blind trials studying the optimum amount of blood to draw. The instrument makers would be designing high precision instruments to make incisions and suctions, more precise, more advanced and more EXPENSIVE.
End so on and so forth.

Can anyone see the connection to chemotherapeutic use which didn’t change much in the last 90 years.
Salvarsan, the first chemotherapy drug, was discovered by Nobel Prize winner Paul Ehrlich in 1909 and was initially used primarily on syphilis.)
Actually if we do count the Salvarsan -then over one hundret years!!

    • thenoseknows says:

More than 80% of doctors polled said they would not personally take chemotherapy. Guess they know something they’re not telling the rest of us… 80% of doctors and medical personnel in the U.K. refuse vaccinations for common diseases. Hmmm.
Conventional medicine is highly theoretical and mostly serves the medical industry: pharmaceutical companies mostly. If chemicals were the key to life you would be able to pour a bunch of them in a bucket and produce living beings.
There is no evidence that chemo. works. Just the illusion of being able to offer desperate people “something” and the illusion that the medical profession did “all they could”. Now there’s a placebo for you.
Drug companies are leeches on the world.

In the Nivea ad of product “DNAge” they say:”protects dna*” then in little letters the ” * ” explained:
“from the negative affect of environment”…

well i’m not great at science stuff but does my dna needs any protection? can face cream o something about it??? in short: WHAT DA F***???

    • WarLabRat says:

It probably has a sunscreen in it.
Because UV(Ultra Violet) light can cause DNA damage, they can make that claim that it “Protects DNA”. So essentially any sunscreen product can make that claim to protect DNA.
UV light damage to the DNA in skin cells is what causes certain types of skin cancer.

Gloria tainted Ashley’s new skin cream with and industrial cleaner, because she was mad at her and jack for throwing her out of the house. So she wanted to get back at them, but it blew up in her face. Jack shipped the cream weeks before it was supposed to be shipped and a lady died from using the cream, so there was an investigation and the found her dna in a glove that was in the garbage. John died of a stroke in prison he was in prison because he shot gloria’s ex husband/ Kevin’s dad.

My boyfriend’s kids’ mother is unfit? PLEASE HELP !!?
I live in the UK and my boyfriend has two boys, one nearly 7 and one is 5. He has them every weekend and we feel she is unfit to have them throughout the week. She’s never worked a day in her life, she has been on benefits since she left school over 10 years ago and uses the kids to gain more. She recently had another baby with her new boyfriend – who smokes so much weed that the oldest boy explained to us how to roll a joint – and even though the baby is nothing to do with us, I am concerned for her welfare, too. The boys come round with various scratches, burns and cuts every week – most which are blamed on their new puppy – they’re never bathed, they smell and are caked in dirt. Recently the youngest had a bruise on his foot, which his mother ignored so we took him to Minor Injuries on the weekend and it turned out he had a broken bone. The doctors were concerned she never did anything about it, but as far as I know nothing has come of this. He has healed now but the eldest has things like warts over his hands (which I know most kids do have, but they literally cover his hands) and warts/spots on his chin (which is probably from all the dried dirt/food always on his face which she never cleans). We took him to the doctors and got some steroid cream on a Tuesday to be applied twice a day, but when we picked him up the following Friday, the cream hadn’t even been opened.

We’ve started taking photos of their injuries with the dates etc, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the UK court system for custody? The problem is, he’s not on their birth certificates as she wouldn’t be able to claim single parent benefit if he was, though it’s obvious they’re his (she was stupid enough to give the eldest his last name and give the youngest my boyfriend’s first name as his middle name). DNA wouldn’t be a problem, and I know it’s a lengthy and expensive process, but wondered if anyone would shed some light. Should we grass her as a benefit cheat? Her boyfriend works and lives with her, though she claims he doesn’t. She even had my mother-in-law to be pay her TV license, though this was recently cancelled.

Sorry for the long post, THANKS!!
how is it not my call? They’re going to be my stepsons? I’m only writing it on here instead of my boyfriend as he’s at work :|

If there is no proof, how can the police give us a fine?
My son’s friend was sitting in the back seat of my son’s truck with his girlfriend at an ice cream shop two days ago and a lady with her child said she saw the kid in the back seat throw a condom out the back window. She got license plate #. The policeman called my home twice and my son said he doesn’t know his friend’s last name because he doesn’t want to snitch. Policeman told me they can give us a fine. I know if his friend did it it would be disgusting, but who’s to proove that it wasn’t already on the ground and she just thought he did it? Policeman said the other woman who works there said she saw him do it, too, which I don’t believe since she is working inside. Anyways, if the kid (which I know who he is ) would go and give a DNA who’s to say the police would just say “YEP” it matches! These police in our area have been known to exagerate, because I have heard one do it. I’m about to call his friend and his parents because I am not paying a fine that I didn’t do.

    • Mr. PhD says:

      1. Police cannot fine anyone. They can only cite in this circumstance.

      2. DNA tests are very expensive. It takes between 2-5 months to have one done for a major crime such as murder. They are not going to do a DNA test for a littering.

      3. If the cop actually said this, he is using the art of the bluff. Call his bluff. Admit nothing. Tell them to call you after a DNA test is available.

T is complementary to A (in RNA)
G is complementary to C (in RNA)
C is complementary to G (in RNA)

The codons in the RNA are AUG, GUC, CGA,CAA & UGA. This gives an amino acid sequence of – Start-Valine -Arginine -Glutamine -Stop.

The tRNA anticodons are UAC,CAG,GCU,GUU & ACU.

What are his chances of getting custody?
I feel sick to my stomach. My son`s father just told me that he`s going to try to get custody of my son. He has NEVER been in my son`s life and he lives in another state. He tries to make it seem like I`ve kept my son away from him but this inst the case. He almost missed my sons birth because he left me at the hospital to go cheat on me. He got kicked out of the hospital after my son was born because he kept playing with my bed (after I had just had emgerency csection). We did live together for about a month and while we lived with him he would NEVER help with my son. He left while we were sleep and ccame home when we were sleep. Once my son and I moved back home he rarely came over and when he did the visit were very short. Last yr my son and I went to the same state he`s in about 200 miles away. We were out there for a LONG time and he only saw my son 4-5times and each time was for 10minz max!! My son spent his 1st birthday out there and his dad didnt show up. He recerntly starting paying childsupport ONLY because I filed for it (he delayed the process by asking for a DNA test when he KNEW he was the only guy I had been with. He just wanted to find any excuse to get out of it). He smokes weed and he has a DUI. He was abusive with me when I was pregnant with my son. My son doesnt recognize him. He`s only seen my son probably 12times since he`s been born and he`s two years old. His mother and sister treated us VERY badly while we were out there. They gave my son soda, candy, ice cream, etc and he was barely one and he`s lactose. They made us take a bus, a train, a shuttle bus to the airport because they were bitter towards me and didnt want to take us to the airport. I dont like his family at all. They all try to make me seem like a horrible mother when I`ve been raising my son ALONE for the pass two years WITHOUT A job!! Before I filed for child support he had only given my son money twice (I still have the western union recipts) and he bought him a pack of bottles and diapers (diapers were the wrong size because he let his whore tell him what size my son wears eventhough she had NEVER met my son before). I have friends and my sister and mom who can all testify that he hasnt been there for my son. After we broke up I would take my son over to his apartment so he could seee him. His focus was on me and not my son he would take my son for 15mins play with him and once my son started crying he would give him to me. I also have text messages from him saying that if I stopped the child support he would sign over his rights. and I have one saying that he doesnt want my son. Do you think he`ll get custody of my son? I dont want him to be able to take my son out of state. I love my son sooo much he`s my life!! He`s my world. I dont know how I`m going to handle being away from him while I`m in the hospital. If this guy was standing in a line with three other guys my son wouldnt be able to pick him out. If I were standing in a line with three other women my son would be able to pick me out hands down!!!! What do you think??

*while my son and I were in the same state as him (we were visiting his mom and sisters) he did come over for an overnight visit but by the time he got there my son was alseep and the next day he left to go smoke weed and get drunk with him friends*
He basically has gone years without seeing my son. He turned 2yr last Wednesday and he’s barely seen him. I do have the police report and everything from the domestic violence case.

    • CaCO3Girl says:

I have a lot of experience in custody cases, and am a very big supporter of fathers rights and often tell them to file for custody…this would NOT be one of those cases. Family court sees this often and they are expecting it to happen, the one parent doesn’t want anything to do with their child until they have to pay child support and then they want custody. This is VERY common, and you have nothing to fear. If he lived 10 miles away, and he saw his son every weekend, and he was in his life constantly and supporting you and he had a job and you didn’t and you moved around a lot and he had a stable home, and if the child KNEW him you might have a problem.

  20. Peter Dur says:

Do I have herpes type 2?
In late feb. I had sex, and before intercourse used a silicon lube, that I had never used before. The lube was definitely the wrong choice, and it dried my girlfriend out and really irritated my penis, it made it raw and frankly really cut it up. Within 24 spots started developing all around my penis. Within 48 hours it looked bad and I went to a doctor. The doctor gave me some cortisol cream. I used the cream for a day and after some research decided that I wanted a herpes test. The next day I came back and he gave me a swab herpes test. He said the test would take about a week to get back, but he gave me five days of aciclovir that I could take in the mean time.

I took five days of aciclovir, and the sores frankly did not really go away. Around ten days after the swab test was taken, the results came back. I tested positive for herpes 2, and negative for herpes 1. I am aware of the high accuracy of herpes swab tests.

Less than three days later, my problems got worse. All of the sudden, I could not pee! And I do not mean it was difficult, i mean literally I could not urinate at all. I had to been hospitalized and I had to use a catheter. I did not tell the doctors in the hospital that I had a positive herpes swab test already. I am an american in germany, and knowing how the german doctors work, if i had told them that they would of not bothered to run any additional tests.

So the doctors in the hospital inspected my penis, which still had sores after aciclovir, and they decided it was mostly a neurological issue. I was hospitalized for seven days. The doctors said it could be herpes, but they had never seen herpes that did not respond to antivirals, or that was so bad that someone could literally not urinate. They wondered if it could be some time of allergic reaction i had to the lube.

In the hospital the following test were ran.

    mri, checked out ok
ekg of limbs, checked out ok
    ms test, negative

and there was a ton of blood tests, and two spinal taps but i will focus on what relates to stds

herpes blood test, borderline region, could not say either way
two herpes spinal taps in which the spinal fluid was analyized for herpes dna in a pcr herpes test, they were both negative.

In the hospital that had me on antibacterial and antiviral ivs.

From the intial outbreak of sores, i still have scars that have developed, i thought herpes did not leave behind scars. Now the scars are still obviously there and I have one sore that developed around a week ago, and has not gone away despite now being three days into a new course of acicolvir.

I am sure something is obviously wrong with me, and yes it is most likely herpes, i just want to be sure its not some other condition that could be being confussed with herpes.

From my research I have been under the impression that herpes swab tests (when you get a positive result), and herpes spinal tap pcr tests are both basically 99.9 percent accurate. My question is then if the swab was positive, and two pcr tests in the hospital were negative what do I believe. I really need some educated input.

    • This is not how I really look says:

I’d trust the pcr test more than the swab; I’ve only heard of a swab test for HIV. It’s unusual to be – for type 1 herpes, most people have it, even if they don’t have cold sores. Sometimes herpes doesn’t respond to a particular medicine – there are about 3, maybe you should try another beside the aciclovir. Were you – for gonorrhea, chlamydia, trich and syphilis? It could be a couple of things going on, possibly an allergic reaction w/ a bladder infection? Because if the symptoms started only 24 hrs. after the sex, that’s pretty early for STD symptoms to show. Usually they show up no earlier than 3 days after exposure. Also, has enough time passed for your body to create antibodies? I think the herpes pcr test requires a one month wait; blood tests require a 3 month wait.

Just thought I’d share… anyone else have DNA oddballs? :) ?
My filly’s DNA tests came back today. She is a registered APHA Perlino Overo. She has all of the traits of a Perlino, but I was looking at her extended pedigree and realized that unless 4 generations of breeders were wrong… there was just no way. It turns out that she is genetically a buckskin ( bay with 1 cream gene) that has the rare Barlink pearl gene which makes her appear Perlino.

I have spent the last year trying to educate the people at the Paint shows as to exactly what a perlino is (because they always ask me what color she is). I can imagine the laughter I’ll get when I tell them she’s technically buckskin. lol Here is a link to a couple of pictures… hopefully it will work. (If not sorry).

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/8960168@N07/?donelayout=1

Anyone else have horses that appear to be something they aren’t, that want to share? :)
She was born darker, kind of a creamy sorrel. I added pictures onto the site that the link leads to. They are not the best, but you can see what color she was. She looks just like a perlino, which is the effect the pearl gene has on 1 cream gene. The pearl gene has been connected to Barlink Macho Man a sorrel/white overo top Paint stallion (her great great grandsire).
Thanks guys. She is pretty… enigma or not. :) lol

I also have a sabino colt (1 copy of the sabino1 gene). I know what you mean. He was born sorrel with NO roaning and has ‘roaned’ out a lot since. His hip seems to be getting lighter every year. I’ll post his yearling pic too. (I really need to get the camera out! It’s been almost 6 months… what a bad mom!)
Oh, and her dam is a gray, born buckskin. She grayed out a 4, but didn’t show graying until then.. another strange one.
Ya, it’s kind of interesting having the only horse colored like her at the shows. I haven’t seen a whole lot of examples of pearl, especially buckskin based. It’s hard to find, though I have seen some Lusitanos. She actually has every perlino trait, except that her eyes have a slight green tint instead of bright blue. She is just a slightly lighter shade (which I read is from her being a lighter tone of ‘buckskin’).
Right now she looks almost just like that stallion on the right, in coloring.
UPDATE: Actually I was educating people on what a perlino was. I never said anyone laughed. I said they would if I told them that she was buckskin(it was a little joke). I am actually quite aware of genotype and phenotype, as well as what a pearl gene does and where it comes from. On a buckskin horse ONE pearl gene does make the horse look like a double dilute. My filly is tested UC Davis, VGL: N/Cr N/Prl, meaning 1 cream, 1 Pearl. She received her pearl gene from her sire who is a descendant of the Barlink bloodlines. She could not receive a Pearl gene from her dam’s side. Here is a passage from the UC Davis site:

“Pearl behaves as a recessive gene with respect to the hair color. One dose of the mutation does not change the coat color of black, bay or chestnut horses. … Pearl is known to interact with Cream dilution to produce pseudo-double Cream dilute phenotypes including pale skin and blue/green eyes.”
I will breed her if she proves herself to be a mare that will
improve the breed. Her conformation is nice, as is her disposition, so far.
She will throw black, bay, buckskin, smoky black, smoky cream and perlino. If she throws a buckskin or smoky black and passes on the pearl gene the horse will appear to have 2 cream genes. She is E/E red factor, A/a Agouti, N/Cr, N/Prl. She is also an Overo so she has the possibility of throwing color.

I also want to say that I may have reacted incorrectly on my last post. I think I misunderstood part of your answer as to mean that I had no idea what I was talking about. If so, I’m sorry about that. I guess I do get a little touchy after so much explaining day after day. lol

    • ibbibud says:

My purebred Arabian mare has thrown a couple of strange ones even the vet scratched his head over until I found out about the Sabino gene. She has a half Appy colt that looks similar to yours. He started out looking like a pale bucksin with a pretty blanket, then literally molted into a pale cream with white at 2 months. Another colt started as a bright sorrel/white pinto, then molted at 2 months [went bald then came back with the new coat] into a monochromatic white pinto..very, very pale rose and white. Her other foals are normal. A sorrel daughter of hers has a jet black baby that was born a pale buckskin. His sire is a blood bay. She is a gray herself, has thrown 2 Sabinos, a sorrel, and 2 grays- 1 rose and the other bay. Now that I know about the Sabino, I may try her with a Sabino stallion to see how that goes.

Is this true of you or just “bunk?
    ARIES
With your short attention span, Aries, your choice of Moose Tracks ice cream more often than not makes a statement. As you’re still a kid at heart, an old-fashioned sugar cone with one scoop of chocolate chip ice cream can whirl you back to Mom and childhood at a dizzying speed.

    TAURUS
Taurus loves decadence, and chocolate ice cream topped with raspberries and amaretto is almost like being in love for you. Another touch of decadence comes when you indulge in Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. Lately, though, you may be leaning more toward nonfat, no-cholesterol, no-lactose raspberry or blueberry sorbet.

    GEMINI
Always on your way to or from somewhere, there’s no time to slowly enjoy a delectable treat of your favorite creamy butter pecan ice cream with a buddy. You will more than likely grab a green-tea-with-raspberries frozen yogurt or a waffle cone with your flavor of choice; you know how you like two of everything.

    CANCER
Cancer water babies like their ice cream rich and gooey and especially love vanilla; it probably reminds you of the big glasses of milk that mom poured for you. A Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard from Dairy Queen will not only satisfy but also feed those childhood memories. With more than one planet in Cancer in your chart, there is probably a frozen yogurt, sorbet, and ice cream maker in the kitchen cabinet.

    LEO
If you are wooing a Leo, presentation is everything. Lions like everything to be larger than life, so serve mounds of vanilla almond ice cream with swirls of caramel on crystal or carnival glass ice cream plates, and you’ll have your big cat purring. A classic Dove bar, vanilla ice cream wrapped in dark chocolate, is another way to the heart of a Leo.

    VIRGO
Fitness is your thing, Virgo, and you’ll normally go for the nonfat strawberry frozen yogurt or something healthy-sounding, such as green tea soy cream. This year, with Saturn in your sign pressing you to challenge yourself more and more, you could give into the pressure and indulge in Ben & Jerry’s Crème Brulee ice cream as a way of nurturing your overworked soul.

    LIBRA
Always mindful of appearances, Libra, not only are you watching calories, but you are conscious about how your choice looks to others. You’ll more than likely order a small dish of nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt, but back home alone in front of the TV, you pull out the Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream. It’s probably in the freezer now, safely tucked behind the pint container of lemon sorbet.

    SCORPIO
You, Scorpio, are always on the run and over-committed, and for that reason, you love your coffee- or mocha-flavored ice creams. Try Cold Stone Creamery’s For Coffee Lovers Only treat for added stimulation. Whether you know it or not, caffeine is wired into your DNA. For a fast jumpstart, a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a steaming hot cup of coffee will do the trick.

    SAGITTARIUS
A taste for the exotic in ice cream is your choice, just as the exotic in life is high on your priority list. Haagen-Dazs’ Baileys Irish Cream and Crème Brulee ice creams could be just what satisfy your sweet tooth. When there’s a long night ahead, you might fortify yourself with Ben and Jerry’s Coffee Coffee ice cream.

    CAPRICORN
Capricorn won’t overindulge, and a small dish of butter pecan or chocolate ice cream is one of your favorite stand-bys, but sometimes even a stubborn Cap needs to bust out of their routine! To indulge your desire for a grandiose lifestyle, try Haagen-Dazs’ Almond Hazelnut Swirl, and you’ll probably add real whipped cream.

    AQUARIUS
When you aren’t inventing your own ice cream concoctions – and you have had your share of doing that – you’ll still want something offbeat, such as Ben & Jerry’s Imagine Whirled Piece or a Strawberry Bananadanna Sundae. We could also find you indulging in a big helping of fried ice cream after a tamale salad.

    PISCES
Pisces can never make a definite choice; just the roster of flavors available can induce confusion. One of your definite favorites is Baskin-Robbins’ Pralines and Cream. Another of your sure things is an extra-large portion of whipped cream on vanilla ice cream with almost any topping, from strawberries to thick fudge. For late-night indulging, Kahlua espresso ice cream pie fits the bill. Could life get any better?

No you cannot change your DNA. Furthermore, doing so would be very dangerous!! We don’t understand it enough to change one part and not alter others for the worse.

Some dark skinned people (please don’t say “negroes” sheesh :P ) use bleaching creams to temporarily bleach their skin to become lighter. Personally, I wish everyone could feel comfortable in their skin and not resort to chemical bleachings to make it different. Love yourself ladies! But yes, people can bleach their skin, but not alter DNA. The results also would not make a dark person completely “fair,” just a little lighter.

This is a very good question.

Yes – Truth In Advertising. If you look/listen closely to the wording in advertisements, you will see/hear misleading references. In this case, Folic Acid and Creatine does help keep skin healthy but it must be absorbed by the body from actual foods containing it. The small amount of folic acid and creatine found in the Nivea product would not be sufficient to make DNA changes. By stating the addition of those two active ingredients, it makes the product sound great.

      For example:

DNAge Day Cream contains an SPF 15 light filter system with enhanced UVA protection. Intensively moisturising, it leaves your skin soft to the touch.

The secret of DNAge Cell Renewal lies in its patent-pending formula that combines two powerful, active ingredients:

Folic Acid – shown to support healthy skin cell development
Creatine – known to act as a powerful energy source for cells.

Can skin bleachers change your DNA pattern?
I am not talking about creams or so, I am talking about the chemically skin bleacher. Can it change your DNA, because a bleached person’s skin will not grow back with its original color, but white (after being bleached). As we know, skin dies and regenerates, so the skin we see today is not necessarily the skin we see tomorrow, why doesn’t a bleached person’s skin then grow back i it’s original color?
I’ve come down to think that chemical skin bleachers can actually alter the DNA pattern. Does anyone know a website, book, or other site that expands on the subject?

    • Chapaev says:

No, the DNA is unchanged. What is usually done is the melanin (skin pigment) production (it is produced under the layer of the skin that keeps being replaced) is somehow reduced/stopped. There are several methods of doing this without actually changing the DNA.

My friends think it’s the container that makes this noise, but I think it’s Nedry sqealing like a pig. Convince me otherwise.
the part I’m talking about is when the DUDE twists the container. Nedry is just watching. So does he squeal or is it the shaving cream?

    • charlie_tuna57 says:

I think the noise you hear is when the computer programmer Dennis Nedry squirts the shaving cream out of the vacuum-packed container. It makes kind-of a swishing sound. Even if I’m young? I want to use these to prevent future signs of aging. Is it okay to do it now or wait till i’m 30+?

    • Maddie says:

I totally get your line of thought. I’m 23 now but a couple of years ago I was thinking the same thing. I researched it, you could use them, but those types of products are geared for older people. Your skin changes as you age. It looses elasticity which is part of what causes wrinkles and other problems. That type of product restores the lost elasticity and firms the skin. Using it super early isn’t going to give you any added benefit, it won’t prevent it. In fact it might cause acne in someone so young.

Your skin is going to be in good shape because of your age. So, It’s really important that you take care of you skin and just maintain it. Use a moisturizer with a SPF of at least 15. Drink lots of water and wash your face everyday.

If you still want to do extra Biore makes a skin line that I use call Skin Preservation, but it’s geared for people in a their mid 20′s to 30′s.

      Hope this helped.

    Is this sentence grammatically correct?
Directly quoted from an Olay Rebate Form:
    ——————————————————————–
    Buy:
    Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream OR
    Regenerist DNA Superstructure UV Cream
AND Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller by
    February 11, 2010.
    ——————————————————————–

I read this sentence thinking I could buy Micro-Sculpting Cream (1 product) OR the DNA and the Eye Roller together (2 products) to get the rebate. Customer Service told me the sentence means you must buy Micro-Sculpting Cream and the Eye Roller OR DNA and the Eye Roller to get the rebate. So because I bought just the Micro-Sculpting I won’t be receiving my $20.

Is this bit of legalese written correctly to mean what they say it means?

are we absorbing other people’s DNA all the time?
given that forensic investigators seem to be able to get DNA samples off a lot of things, also that we can absorb stuff through skin contact, like Nicotinelle, slimming patches, even face creams etc. Could we pick up cells from other people during any physical contact. Perhaps Howard Hughes was right!

    • Lily Testor says:

not realistically. the molecules you described in your scenarios are many times smaller than a DNA molecule, not to speak of a cell. So they will not just diffuse through your skin.
and as Gayle correctly states, Nucleases on the surface will degrade foreign DNA as part of our defense.

we could realistically swallow or inhale someone’s sloughed off skin cells (Dust is largely sloughed off cells, yum).

      what would happen to those?

if swallowed, you’d digest the minute quantities of DNA, leaving “nothing”.
If inhaled, they’d be either trapped in the mucous layer of your respiratory tract and excreted (usually you swallow that or you blow your nose), or macrophages in the lung would engulf the particles and destroy them.

    question about phone radiation?
I know phone radiation is non-ionizing radiation, some research has shown that it can affect molecules and DNA, assuming this is true, can phone radiation also affect medicine or food, if I put my phone next to a cream I use or a medicine I take, can it change its structure somehow?please explain why or why not, I know phone radiation cannot take molecules apart since it doesn’t have enough energy, but still some research shows that it can change DNA somehow, so can it also affect the molecules of food or medicine?

    • pzifisssh says:

Biological molecules are incredibly complicated, and they can undergo profound non-chemical changes. Picture a raw egg white. Now picture what happens to it when it hits a hot griddle. The change you see when you cook an egg white is NOT a chemical change (i.e., it is not caused by bonds breaking and re-forming in different ways). What you are seeing is a change in the “conformation” of the egg protein. It’s still the same protein molecules, but their shape has changed:

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_structure

Cell-phone radiation is not “ionizing” radiation (i.e., the individual photons do not have enough energy to break chemical bonds), but researchers lately have been questioning whether or not they could have more subtle effects such as triggering structural changes in the shape of protein molecules, etc.

Unfortunately, asking about the safety of cell-phones is like asking about global warming. There are billions of dollars at stake, and the industry is willing to spend whatever it takes to suppress or discredit any scientific research that could show their product in a bad light.

The good news is that cell phone radiation obeys the inverse square law. Use a headset when you talk on the phone instead of pressing its antenna against the side of your head, and you’ll cut your exposure by several orders of magnitude.

A lot of meds are relatively simple compounds as compared to proteins and DNA. If you are taking any protein-based medications though, you might want to consider whether there are any alternatives to storing them in direct contact with your phone.

Dun filly – anyone know where I can find out if she is homozygous?
My two-year old filly is absolutely DRIPPING with dun factor. I know you can send in tail/mane hairs to a DNA Lab (i.e. UC Davis) to check for red and black factor, the Agouti gene, the cream dilution, and the silver dilution, but there isn’t a “test” (That I have found) to conclude if a horse is homozygous for the dun gene.
Is testing for the Agouti gene a way to figure it out? I’m so confused – can someone explain this to me? :(
    Thank you!
Ok, another question – can duns be homozygous for black?

    • Danelle J says:

I disagree with Horsybill on the fact that the dun factor is not always expressed, it is alway expressed according to the information I have read over the past 5 years regarding color gentics.

There may be other genes that are affecting the color along with the dun factor, such as bay, cream, and grey, howeve in all cases the dun factors still show through, although slightly altered due to the other genes. Some associations may or may not recognize or distinquish all of the following combinations. A sorrel with the dun factor is a red dun, a bay with it is a bay dun, a palamino with the dun factor is a dunalino, a black with the dun factor is a grulla, a buckskin with it is sometimes refered to a line backed buckskin.

The Aqouti gene is the gene that produces a bay. A bay is a black horse with the aqouti gene that limits the back color to the points, the lower legs, mane and tail. A sorrel can carry a bay gene or be homozygous bay, its just not expessed as it is only works on black horses.

A black horse that has a dun gene would not look like a black, it would be a grulla, and yes a grulla could be homozygous dun and homozygous black if it came from a grulla to grulla mating, that does not mean however that every grulla grulla mating would produce a grulla. If the parents are not homozygous for grulla, they their off spring are not guaranteed to be grulla or homozygous for grulla.

After Horsybilly called me on my previous answer I went to the UC Davis site.
      http://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/coatcolor.php#gened
and I found that he is misquoting the site. Below you will find copy of text from their site. The paragraphs are complete as taken from the site.

It does not say that the dun gene is not expressed on all colors, it states:
“The basic colors can be diluted by at least four genes: Cream, Champagne, Dun and Silver. The Cream gene has a dosage effect in that a single copy of Cream produces palominos, buckskins and smoky blacks. Two doses of Cream produce cremellos, perlinos and smoky creams. Champagne, Dun and Silver do not show a dosage effect.”

What is mean by dosage affect is that the Champagne, Dun and Silver genes do not get lighter when they are homozygous the way a cream does.

Below is the information listed on their site in regards to duns.

“Gene D: Dun Pattern and Pigment Dilution
The D gene determines a second kind of dilution of coat color and its effects can be confused with those of Ccr. However, there are several important differences of the effects of D and Ccr on color. First, D dilutes both black and red pigment on the body, but does not dilute either pigment in the points. Red body color is diluted to a pinky-red, yellowish-red or yellow; black body color is diluted to a mouse-gray. Second, in addition to pigment dilution, a predominant characteristic of the allele D is the presence of a particular pattern which includes dark points, dorsal stripe (list), shoulder stripe and leg barring. Third, homozygosity for D does not produce extreme dilution to cream as does Ccr.
This pigment dilution pattern is called dun. In an otherwise red horse, the D allele produces a pinkish-red horse with darkened points known as a red dun or claybank dun (ww, gg, ee, CC, D). In an otherwise bay animal, the D allele produces a yellow or yellow-red animal with black points known as a buckskin dun (ww, gg, E, A, CC, D) (Fig. 2D). An otherwise black animal with the D dilution allele is a mouse gray color with black points known as a mouse dun or grulla (ww, gg, E, aa, CC, D).
The effect of D and Ccr can be easily confused in A, E horses so care must be taken in identification. It is possible for an animal to have both the Ccr and D dilutions, a situation which may be difficult to distinguish except by breeding tests.
D is found only in a few breeds of horses, and probably in the United States would only be seen in stock horse breeds, as well as in some ponies.

DD: Horse shows a diluted body color to pinkish-red, yellow-red, yellow or mouse gray and has dark points including dorsal stripe, shoulder stripe and leg barring.
      Dd: Same as DD.
dd: Horse has undiluted coat color.”

I hope this helps clarify the dun confusion that exists.
      Thanks!
      Danellej

But, in all honesty, Hoppy the four-legged dog cannot be blamed for any of this and I wish I never had tied him up in the first place because then he could have saved that family of small squirrels who were eaten by the hurricane’s eye which turned out to be not so calm because of the alien that lived there with a Mexican horse named Paco. But that’s all beside the point.
